I really enjoyed Camilla’s amazing yoga classes on the rooftop, petting the resident doggos, relaxing at Sugar Spa (best massage I’ve had in Cambodia!). Take a bicycle ride and explore-it’s just a few minutes to everything. The wonderful owners are doing everything they can to keep their staff employed during this difficult time. I had been to Siem Reap before and had seen the property already but staying here was such a pleasure. We secured several rooms across a few different categories and the rooftop area to practice yoga which was kept private for us. The breakfast offerings were the best of any place I've EVER taken a retreat group (in Europe, Latin America or Africa). So many options and all delicious and served with tropical fruit, juice and coffee. And to dine by the pool is utterly fabulous. The rooms are well out fitted, the staff is kind and warm, the drivers and activities arranged by them were superb. There's nothing quite like visiting the nearby temples and then jumping in their pool to cool off and having a cold cocktail brought to you in the pool. Absolute heaven. I've been sitting on my hands just waiting until we can get another group back to Cambodia. It's clear to anyone who hears me talk about this trip that this place, the very caring and hands on owner Ilana and all her staff are everything that's right with hospitality. We aren't strangers to Baby Elephaant. We often would... read more come here to make the most of their happy hour, have a swim, and grab some fresh vegan food. It seemed like the obvious choice when we both had a couple of days off together.
The staff is fantastic. Inviting, friendly, and always smiling.
There's a community board with things that are going on and the schedule for the yoga classes etc that happen on the rooftop.
We have yet to try out the Sugar Spa (maybe on our next visit!)
Baby Elephant is just off the track from some of the main roads in the city, but you would never tell once you entered the gates. This tropical oasis is a luscious escape.
(side note) They also kept all of their staff employed through the whole COVID pandemic, which hit Siem Reap really hard. The work they do for the community is awesome! More

They use eco-friendly amenities in their toilets and no plastic straws (wooot!). Comfy bed, great food, excellent service... I say look no further and go ahead and book that stay! You will not regret it!

October 20, 2021The wife and I stayed at the Baby Elephant Boutique Hotel as a part of our honeymoon while we visited the temple complex. The English-speaking staff was incredibly kind and... read more helpful, and the location, outside of the busy area, was excellent. I recommend this hotel for families who don't want to stay three seconds away from the wannabe-hedonistic pub street. Instead, I recommend staying here for a relaxing time while you experience one of the greatest historic relics of all time. I almost forgot to mention: the food, including breakfast, is excellent, and in a time where people are afraid to get sick from food, Baby Elephant is 100% safe and delicious. There is one dog (Happy) and a cat (never got its name) on the premises. Both are incredibly friendly.
