The Spa out back is wonderful and daily yoga classes on the top floor balcony make for a very relaxing stay.

Highly recommended.

The food is really yummy, especially the spring rolls. The cocktails are great and the happy hour is ridiculously good.
It's worth bearing in mind that the pool only gets the sun until lunchtime so if you want to keep a half day aside for lounging it might be best to do that in the morning.
I'd really recommend going to Ta Promh at 7 or 7.30am before the crowds get there, it's incredibly atmospheric. I'm doubt that there are ever not crowds at Angor Wat so I'd suggest dedicating an early start to Bayon or Ta Promh instead.
Another tip is the amazing restaurant nearby Pou Kitchen. The most inventive and contemporary Cambodian meal we had on our trip.

Baby Elephant has a great food menu with various selections; my favorite is the cheeseburger with fries. They also have a great selection of wine, beer, and cocktails. Happy hour is from 5-7 PM; two cocktails for the price of one.
Also, if you are an animal lover like we are, be ready to meet the cutest sassiest dog in the universe, Lenny. Watch out, because Lenny loves fries and he is officially a “Fries Digger,” Lenny also has a bunch of brothers and sisters that you will get to meet during your stay.
Baby Elephant is running a few promotions atm, offering discounts on food and accommodation for extended stays, so make sure to check their Facebook page for the latest updates.

I recommend this hotel for families who don't want to stay three seconds away from the wannabe-hedonistic pub street. I almost forgot to mention: the food, including breakfast, is excellent, and in a time where people are afraid to get sick from food, Baby Elephant is 100% safe and delicious. There is one dog (Happy) and a cat (never got its name) on the premises. Both are incredibly friendly.
