It’s a well-run boutique hotel, but I feel at home. Its peaceful, friendly, great food, daily yoga and a great roof top Shala. They even have an amazing spa, so you don’t have to go far to get some of the best treatments and massages you will find in Cambodia. (No pun intended), but the team that run the Sugar spa are truly professional and the “sweetest” humans you could meet! I love swimming and the pool is amazing. I can not thank the owners and the beautiful team at Baby Elephant enough, for the care, the small touches and mostly the loving kindness that greets me every day and bids me goodnight. I send deep gratitude to all who recommended this place to me, it’s all you said and so much more. Thank you. More

As a vegetarian and a vegan travelling with two carnivores, we expected that our dietary requirements might not be met but we were wrong, there was no problem finding delicious meals for us all. We also loved the poolside cocktails!
I was very impressed with the environmental policies of the hotel and the obvious effort of the owners to give back to their local community.
A great spot to stay, all the staff were wonderful even getting up at 4am to arrange breakfast and transport to Angkor Wat. Can't wait to go back.

The rooms are tastefully decorated and feel homely rather than cold, as some hotel rooms can feel. Breakfast is included and is tasty and varied.
I like the fact that it is in a quiet location and yet a 15 minute walk to the river and all that goes on around there.
Lying by the pool with a cocktail or mocktail in hand (2 for the price of one) is a very relaxing thing.

Baby Elephant has a great food menu with various selections; my favorite is the cheeseburger with fries. They also have a great selection of wine, beer, and cocktails. Happy hour is from 5-7 PM; two cocktails for the price of one.
Also, if you are an animal lover like we are, be ready to meet the cutest sassiest dog in the universe, Lenny. Watch out, because Lenny loves fries and he is officially a “Fries Digger,” Lenny also has a bunch of brothers and sisters that you will get to meet during your stay.
Baby Elephant is running a few promotions atm, offering discounts on food and accommodation for extended stays, so make sure to check their Facebook page for the latest updates.

Two largish dogs and one tiny Pomeranian who looks like a sugar puff ball called Lenny who steals the show. Guests are also allowed to bring small dogs to stay and that was my situation. So I had two small dogs. Who were always made to feel welcome and didn’t need to be kept on a lead in the garden area. So they were able to bask in the sun and play as though they were at home and this too brings that homey feel. If your a dog lover or a dog owner you will love this place.
Another thing worth mentioning is that siem reap town is a very noisy place with Pagodas on every corner and busy traffic , but Baby Elephant is tucked away down a very narrow side street so there is no traffic noise or any noise pollution in fact. I slept like a baby there. Also the showers are piping hot.
They also have a large yoga Shalla on the roof . If you take a class at 4pm to 6pm you will even see the sunset up there while doing your class.
Stay here if your a little bit boho, hippie, love yoga, love dogs, and love community and it will always be your favourite place to keep returning to in siem reap. And when you return they will welcome you with open arms and a big smile. More
