Our Guests Say It Best

We had a great time staying here. The team at reception and the bar are so kind and friendly, it really made it a special experience. We felt quite emotional... read more leaving, which was also because it was the end of our two week trip in Cambodia.
The food is really yummy, especially the spring rolls. The cocktails are great and the happy hour is ridiculously good.
It's worth bearing in mind that the pool only gets the sun until lunchtime so if you want to keep a half day aside for lounging it might be best to do that in the morning.
I'd really recommend going to Ta Promh at 7 or 7.30am before the crowds get there, it's incredibly atmospheric. I'm doubt that there are ever not crowds at Angor Wat so I'd suggest dedicating an early start to Bayon or Ta Promh instead.
Another tip is the amazing restaurant nearby Pou Kitchen. The most inventive and contemporary Cambodian meal we had on our trip.

Lucky number 7.
The most important reason to stay at this beautiful place. the meaning behind everything that BE does. They strive to train, educate, and provide long lasting employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for their employees and local khmer people. From the bread they buy to the drivers they hire and the sustainable products they use. Their ethics, values, and mission can be seen throughout the hotel, and local community.

June 17, 2022sonyad754I just finished an all to brief 2 night stay at Baby Elephant and feel compelled to write a review. Every staff member I encountered was so clearly happy to be there and I noticed so many small details, that are so often missing or overlooked in hotels, that spoke to the impeccable training they must have received. On top of this the food was fantastic and reasonably priced (fantastic veg and vegan options) and I managed to squeeze in a little pool time too. A 10 min walk or 3 minute tuk tuk to pub st. My only recommendation would be to stay longer than you planed (I didn't get a chance to use their in house spa, next time!). Well done to all the team (and they are so clearly a team). More
